Waymo on Wednesday launched its self-driving taxi service called ‘Waymo One’ in Arizona, US, for paying customers within a 160 km zone where it was testing its technology since 2016. A human driver would currently be there to intervene in case of an emergency. The service is currently only available to riders who signed up on the platform last year.
